Viewed from Penifiler across Loch Portree on the Isle of Skye with the impressive Trotternish Ridge in the background and Portree tucked in behind the ‘Lump’ – the headland that shelters the harbour. The famous ‘Old Man of Storr’ is clearly silhouetted on the steep rocky eastern face which overlooks the Sound of Raasay – the location of the opening sequence in Ridley Scott’s notable film – ‘Prometheus’.
