Sitting off the Mull of Kintyre the tiny island of Gigha has some spectacular secluded beaches including the ‘Queen’s Beach’ aka the ‘Royal Beach’ where the Royal Family used to picnic with the Royal Yacht Britannia moored offshore. This beach has one solitary palm tree (not featured as it’s too lonely – the tree not the beach) and is one of the island’s best beaches.
